Riverbanks Zoo

11 Oct 2011 – Life is a zoo in a jungle… Peter de Vries

Sat: shopping and a treat with Katy as promised to take the 3 older ones out individually over the Columbus Day weekend. Another lovely evening for roasting marshmallows, this time round with Sophie too!

Sun: Riverbanks Zoo has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 1973, and dates back to the early 19th century with SC’s textile industry and the American Civil War. Located on 170-acre (69 ha) this zoo, aquarium and botanical garden@500 Wildlife Parkway, along the Saluda River is SC largest and leading attraction.

It was quite challenge for Linn to have 5 kids at the zoo but the whole outing was a wonderful experience. Considering about the phobia of snakes, managed to take pix of many of the snakes (behind enclosed glass of course!). Wow wonders never cease 🙂

Sun: another beautiful moon-lid night with glow-sticks for the kids. Thank you Linn & family for your beings. The grandma/mormor is enjoying and loving every moment of this 🙂 🙂
