24 Feb 2011 – Leaving on a Jet Plane…

but will be back in SIN 7 Mar to attend Mary Black’s reception performance… ie if no delay with the plane! And off again 10 Mar!!

Wed: went to watch Homecoming/įŽ‘į€å›žåŪķ***before flying off. This local production is about three stories of three different individuals going home for the Chinese New Year. Not a fan of Jack NEO and especially not his cross-dressing. But wanted to see Mark LEE as he usually gives a decent performance. After Tue’s rather serious movies x2, this uncomplicated light comedy is quite entertaining. A feel good movie with a happy ending 🙂

Appreciations to Ting, CH, KiWi and his wife Aya who came by to wish me a safe trip. Usually the pix in this blog are in thumbnail size, easier for layout but Ting made a comment about it. So Ting, the above pix is for your sake 🙂

After all the traveling, packing is still the least favourite thing to do. Will wait till the last moment to figure out what is really necessary and most of the time will pack the minimum. Last night, was a typical example, thus not getting to sleep till the wee hours of this morning. One would think that it will be more a routine by now. We bring too much of our past experience, the clutter of our emotions. These things get in the way and keep us from getting close to others. Then we are left with the task of having to find someone else to carry it, whether it is our luggage or our loneliness – Mary Morris
