5 May 2009 – Tour Guide

Ann & Mick arrived late Sun night from New Zealand and flew back to Ireland tonight. They stayed in the interesting Scarlett Hotel with an unusual tap in the ladies’ room. Mon, we visited Chinatown, MRT to Vivocity, light rail to Sentosa, cable car to Mr Faber, walked downhill to 5 Temenggong Road, bus to the SIN River and walked the colonial heritage trail (Raffles Statue, Victoria Hall, ACM, Old Supreme Court, City Hall, St Andrew’s Cathedral, Raffles Hotel), had a drink at New Asia Bar (71-72th floor of the Swissotel), walked to Esplande via CityLink and dined at Makansutra.

Today at the URA, Thian Hock Temple at Telok Ayer, taxi to Little India passing by MICA Building, Central Fire Station, Armenian  Church. CHIJMES, Church of the Good Shepherd. Unfortunately we could not get into the McNally Gallery at the new LaSalle College of Art but his ‘Chuan’ is in the Intercontinental Hotel and a drink there was well-deserved. Hope that Ann & Mick will get their rest on their 14hrs flight back to Ireland. It was such fun having them here for their 1st SIN visit and thank you for Genesis Fine Art of Molly Malone, #3562.

Hopefully will get some rest on my flight; at the airport to catch the Wed 0630hrs flight to HKG. Happy Bday to cousin Wilki WONG in Hawaii

In Dublin’s fair city where the girls are so pretty, I first set my eyes on sweet Molly Malone…
