1 Apr 2023 – The Garbage of Eden is No April Fool

Wed: SIN Changi Airport – where many have been, but probably few(including myself, as I was living in Norway then!) can remember the 1970s land reclamation. Today it is voted the top airport in the world by Skytrax, once again reclaiming the No.1-spot- pix downloaded.

A good productive day – got to finally taste the BakChorMee from TaiWah@CrawfordLn. Despite that there were only 4ppl ahead of me, had to still wait ~10mins(every bowl is individually made as you order) and there were at least 10ppl behind me!  Yummy, but not worth the wait.

Shared a table with a young charming couple Maria&Klaus from Austria. Refreshing to hear how positively adventurous they are exploring&travelling to this part of the world for the first time and being the only non-local here, am impressed how they managed to find this place.

Shopping@ArabSt, success at getting some suitable material despite having to pay S$35per meter! Continued to Diaso&Spotlight@PlazaSIN for sewing accessories and ended with a well-deserved tea-break@MujiCafes LemonYuzaTart – slightly too sweet for me. Pleased with getting most with what I needed spending a total of S$120 for today including drinks&food. Running around on my feet for most of the day did give me abit of a headache, but thank goodness it was short-lived.

Sat: hello Apr, a walk(~6k) when most are asleep and the best time to wander around without anyone to annoying me with April Fool’s jokes or pranks! LOL…

No April Fools here as the weather forecasts warmer days ahead. Looking much forward to being with my flock in USA&Norway to enjoy the flowers+little things on the warmer days ahead.
