The motifs of cranes sometimes refer to the transformed Taoist immortals (xian), who were said to have magical abilities to transform into cranes in order to fly on various journeys.

Sun: Ann does not want me at the airport, so we parted paths last night. Now for one of the most dreaded things to do – PACK 😦 but to pack and fly these distances to be with my family is the greatest blessing πŸ™‚

Looking forward to Sep when I am planning to be in Norway after the US trip. Olai will be 4 and it would be nice if I could celebrate with him.
