Tue- thank you aunt Winnie for a lovely evening at the famous Willows (Hawaii’s Original Garden Restaurant since 1944) with a fountain like at Bugis Junction in SIN but a smaller version. It was such a treat to dine with her and the family. 12 uncle John was my father’s younger brother who immigrated here with aunt Winnie and my 2 cousins Desmond & David in 1964. The last time I saw uncle John was in 1986 when the USS Missouri was doing her world tour.

Wed- appreciation to Lisa for getting me an appointment with the dental hygienist and to Adrian for the beautiful drive above city-line. Hiked Diamond Head with Kim last year, spectacular views but very exposed with the drama of a helicopter rescue for a heat-stroke hiker. Dinner at 3660 on the Rise which is famous for it’s Martini menu, 4 pages of choices! Decided on the James Bond- the traditional Vodka with dry vermouth and garnish with olives.

Thu- McKinley High School was officially established in 1865 as the Fort Street English Day School. The surroundings today have  impressive trees in front of the Administrative Building. Gratitude to Yvette Lam for including me into her Senior AP Psychology attentive class to give my presentation. Enjoy the graduation and have safe journeys throughout life. To Nero, a 2005 graduate- delighted that he chose to be at his alma mater for my talk. Was told that as a student there, his attandence was bare mininum in spite of a 4.2 GPA!

If the essence of my being has caused a smile to have appeared upon your face or a touch of joy within your heart, then in living I have made my mark –
