24 Jun 2026 – Adorable No More Baby but Toddler Kai
Sun: tkx to Les&Ivy for my favourite Steak-a-la-Rochalie+Chinese-style-steamed-fish and today was fortunate to get this delicious sweet Cempedak at the local fruit stall across the road. The question is, if jackfruit is called nangka in BahasaMelayu/Malaya, what is Cempedak called in English? As it turns out, there’s no English equivalent for this fruit’s unless you want to get scientific and call it Artocarpus integer.

This is how it is for fish lover, as my Norwegian-X-fil used to say that anyone who likes fish eats fish like a cat and up to day still will eat every bite of the fish if just served as a meal, ie fish has to be fresh, not overcooked or overseasoned – pix downloaded from a decade ago when even the chef then wanted to use these pix for his PR – hahaha

Mon&Tue: routine grocery shopping, etc with fridge&freezer packed with food for the week+lemon-grass-tea boiled and pandan-leaf washed and ready for flavouring the water when bored with plain water.
Wed: one of the best mornings since my own 6grandchildren outgrew their mormor where the innocence of a toddle have long passed – such adorable gentle nature who perhaps might learn the piano from me someday!
