How decadent to be having High-Tea on a weekday, no wonders that I was mistaken to be a Taitai太太a Chinese colloquial term that generally refers to a wealthy married woman who does not work. It is also used as an honorific for a married woman, similar to the Cantonese title for a married woman. Additionally, it can be used by a husband to introduce his wife to others. In English, it translates to wife. Am 100% certainly definitely neither – hahaha!

How coincident that May was still here and we were able to catch with nostalgic memories when we drove to Tijuana/Mexico together from 1986CA/USA and now 2025@FoodRepublic,Jewel/SIN. Bye for now where Euphemia has to go thru’ the DepartureGates back into her transit accommodation by the hour, hopefully she will get her worth of sleep before heading to London/UK tomorrow morning. Will see her again on her way back to NZ in 2weeks time.
Appeciations to May for sharing this unusual pastry from Shawn – asked him if he was trying to poison my daughter and turned out to be one of the best Pistachio Pastry tasted – tkx Shawn. OTTOS$12.50! pistachio mousse, 70% pistachio praline and orange almond cake coated with a thin layer of chocolate and clamped between 2 pieces of almond tart shells.
