It is my aging-taste-buds? but food here seems to taste different from that@Funan?? Have always like the taste of BuahKeluak/PangiumEdule 黑果 must get myself a packet to try for chicken dishes too. Note: seeds of PangiumEdule contain hydrogen cyanide, a deadly toxin. They must be fermented or processed to remove the toxin before consumption.

Fri: CCF&Congee lunch with Henry@MT-market and nice to bump into AudreyW to share a table with her. Interesting screening of Light on the Lotus Hill, a research project by ChanCW to document an almost forgotten history of SIN&WW2@The Projector. Reflecting with better understanding on why father never bought anything made in Japan despite him hardly talked much about those days except that we need to talk towards his RightEar being hit by the Japanese soldiers leaving him quite deaf in his LeftEar.

While thinking of father&waiting for either Bus16or196 on NicholHighway today as it is not affected by any diversions until tomorrow – was pleasantly surprised to see the ChinggayFloats driving by probably on their way to Marsiling-YewTeeGRC.
Looks like I missed them in my GRC but if really want to see them, there are 4more Heartlands’GRC locations they will be at! Blessed to have them to myself with no other ppl at the bus-stop, will not be anywhere with crowds and my definition of crowd is more than 2ppl. Two might be company and 3 is definitely a crowd – hahaha…
