Still am totally hypnotized by this sculpture weighing 24tons 21,774kg and consisting of 1,216 motors. This modern arts showpiece, featuring the dance of a thousand copper raindrops in the air with precisely choreographed movements is designed by Art+Com. Very appropriate with constant busy movements like the life in this T1.

Nov2013: Sunday Times: A woman was arrested by the police after she climbed over the railing at Changi Airport Terminal 1 on the netting below the Kinetic Rain sculpture… damaged by the intrusion with some strings on the art sculpture entangled… OH NO, my favourite sculpture at the airport, she should be deported!

Mon: @Parkway getting popiah,Bday-noodles, etc for dinner@Rochalie where the pool is more or less ready to be used! Happy 81stBday to Ivy

Tue: 祝福大家中秋節快樂 Happy Mid-Autumn Festival to all celebrating&marking today. Enjoy your 月饼/Mooncake, I grew up with the 蓮蓉LotusSeed paste filling – nowadays there are all sorts of different fillings, but my personal preference is still the simple white Lotus; 菱角/WaterCaltrop, 餘頭/Taro, the only time I eat these foods – life is like a mooncake, sometimes sweet, sometimes nutty, hahaha and remember that we are all under the same sky, looking at the same moon but just seeing it at different times!

These are the type of lanterns I grew up with and they are just as beautiful in my eyes today, especially when lid in the dark. Also do like the simple paper ones too, easier for storage and the edition from last year is a hot-air-ballon design. Unless something unusual catches my eye, doubt that there will be any more new additions to this collection.
