The past 3 days have been super busy, will upload pix and more info when time permits. Do not know Henry’s laptop, so it is taking too much of time which it too limited here in HKG!

Tue: Bauhinia × blakeana is an evergreen tree with large thick leaves and striking purplish red flowers. sometimes known as HKG orchid/香港蘭/香港兰. even though it is not an orchid, but the flora emblem is used in the coat of arm, coins and flag. Thanks to Richard for a lovely afternoon at Repulse Bay, located south of HKG island is one of the most expensive housing areas where Richard lives. The new Ocean Park is in full view from his window. What a beautiful area.

Stanley is a town and a tourist attraction located on a peninsula on the southeastern part of HKG island and is east of Repulse Bay. Lunch at Saigon@Stanley. Thanks to Richard for a fantastic joy riding in his BMW convertible 🙂

Wed: Appreciations to Harry for a beautiful hike in Sia Kung. This is a magical place! Set in the east coast of the Sai Kung Peninsula /西貢半島. Tai Long Wan/Big Wave Bay is a large bay with white sand beaches flanked by rugged headlands, backed by abandoned fields beyond which rise some impressive hills. Unless you can arrive by boat or even helicopter (saw three helicopter landings), you head here by a bit of a hike. The main route follows a stretch of Maclehose Trail, up and over the ridge from Chek Keng which one can walk to from a bus stop at Pak Tam Au or take an easier option, riding a speedboat from Wong Shek Pier. We ended our 5hrs hike at Wong Shek Pier and took the bus (another 1hr) back to HKG center.

Ended this perfect day with Hakka dinner@九龍醉瓊樓飯店****and dessert@Australian Dairy Co with Richard.
