11 Nov 2009 – Kome
Appreciation to Les & Ivy for introducing Kome Japanese Fine Dinning**** at the Kepple Club last Sun. Compliments to chef Lawrence. Was actually not hungry due to a late tea that day. Accompanied with champagne and a white wine, the miso soup and salad were delicious. The fish sperms were out of this world, tasty and smooth; the salmon roe/eggs were juicy bites. Reminded me of when I was at the mountains in Norway when we just ate the trouts’ roe right after we fish them from the lake.
Sebastian CHOW and I celebrated his bday with tea earlier that Sun. Met Seb 10 years ago when I first returned to SIN and he was in his late 20s. It is amazing that 10 years have gone so quickly by and watching how people have developed over a decade is another learning experience. Seb used to like his drinks but has now given that up and the amount of money he saves… $$$$ per annum. Unfortunately he still smokes. If only he could give up smoking instead and just drink less! At present into photography… two of my favourites from his albums.
