Hello July 2025

2 Jul 2025 – And Hello Angeline

Sun: appreciations with tkx for dinner@Rochalie/beautiful flowers in that hood made my day with adorable BabyKai discovering his tongue who will surely be trained to appreciate world’s cuisine some day – he has already tasted durian and seems to like it!  A reminder that the tongue is a small thing, but can do much damages&hurt, so talk with your mind before you talk with your tongue.

Mon: Nov2024 watched a HKG movie@Cathay, PoDeiJuk/Cantonese 破地獄=lit Break Hell’s Gate/The Last Dance on big screen. Enjoyed this interesting flick but would have preferred it in the original HK-Cantonese, here being dubbed to Mandarin. Rewatched it in Cantonese recently online without subtitles so will probably find another version to watch to get the full understanding. Seldom rewatch movies so must really like it to be willing to rewatch it for the third time!

The Last Dance isn’t just a movie about death – it’s a reminder for all to break through our own personal hells of unexpressed emotions – not only the dead, but living people also have hell’s gate to break.

Tue: half of 2025 has gone starting the other half with grocery shopping@MT-GiantS$59including PromoS$8+SS4%S$2.50=S$10.50TotalSave. Worth the 3mins-read for this interesting link with constructive info stating that the longer you live, the greater your risk to dementia – simple biological mathematics. But you do have the power to take action to reduce the risks. In short, it isn’t just a biological issue, it’s also a social justice issue. And that’s precisely why the researchers insist that:

Public health policies must be inclusive and targeted. It’s not enough to say ‘eat better and move more’. We need to ensure that everyone has the real means to do so.

Why Dementia Cases Are Exploding (and What Researchers Say)

Comment from PaulK: But I was always like this… (apart from change of personality which, try as I might, always seemed to have the same issues…)

Wed: a good view of The Crown&The Jewel when walking to&fro T3&T1. Welcome Angelina from Belgium on transit here for a few days en route to KCH,Sarawak/E-Malaysia. Sometimes it seems like I am living in this airport nearly! ~13yrs ago since in Belgium visiting with Angeline&family! https://amylamsg.com/2012/08/26/6-stations/

When everything seems to be going against you, remember that the airplane takes off against the wind, not with it — Henry Ford

Aug2018:  appreciations with tkx to Angelina for meeting me at the station, to Kurt for making Belgium national dish, yummy mussels with fries to Kiefer for his sweet smiles.

Jan2023: spontaneous meet up with Lily&AngelinaÔng who text me while I was about to hop on the MRT in Kranji. Since they were in town and for me to get back from the West-East of the island, BencoolenSt was just a slight detour. Tkx for my favourite ice-cream@FortuneCentre and safe journeys onwards for them.

Wed2Jul2025: so cute to hear Kiefer/13 speaking fluent Flemish to his brother Zephyr/9.

From Chicken Feet And Frog Legs

28 Jun 2025 – To Wooloomooloo Steak Tartare

Wed: Happy Bdays to nephews John&Clement+friend Huang in HI/USA who I am proud to be addressed as auntie by them. Some of my nieces&nephews(OrangeGen) are into their 50s&60s, GrandNephews(PurpleGen) in their 30s and now with 3GreatGrandNieces(BrownGen) blessing me to be considered Ancient – hahaha. After the browser issues, lost most data for the family tree Bdays. Thank goodness for LAMs&TSENGs FB-HeritageLinks, managed to re-enter the data and so far with 66names, just half way, ie up to Jun! Also updating hardcopy with these 3new names for the latest generation.

BrG3LAM  17Jun2025 full name to be updated

Thu: received from Katy&Jack’s, so its official that the eldest grandchild will be getting married 22Feb2026 – such beautiful penmanship. Looking forward and hope to be there.

https://www.theknot.com/us/katy-hall-and-jack-wegmet-feb-2026

Nice Kopitiam@T3 and decent Beef+TendonSoup but prefer the taste of that @FoodRepublic/Jewel. Euphemia arr on time and also managed to sort her issues with DigitalGadgets@Jewel before getting a Grab. An accident on ECP got us stuck there for ~45mins and took ~over an hour to get lyfFunan/HillSt. No problems for us as we had lots to chat but felt sorry for the driver for his loss of income during that kind of traffic-jam.

Edited Mon30Jun: and by the time we pass this scene, the car we saw covered in white foams was a Porsche – thank goodness no injuries.

https://theindependent.sg/car-erupts-in-flames-along-ecp-no-injuries-reported/

A walk from FunanTiongShianPorridge長城粥品Chinatown for ChickenFeet&FrogLegs hit the spot for Euphemia who is unable to get these kind of foods in NZ, glad that she too likes durians. This also is my favourite location for raw fish but unfortunately raw fish is no longer permitted. Hopefully she will have a good night rest and a good stay here the next few days until we meet again.

Why did the durian stop playing chess? Because it was tired of being the king of fruits! – hahaha

After our farewells, walked further down VictoriaSt passing CHIJMES/my old school bringing back memories of those masses attended in this church. Bus16 by RafflesHotel@BrasBasahRd directly back to my 4walls before 23.00hrs making my 14,000steps today.

Fri: amazing impressive selections at the reduced price section after 1800hrs@CS/RafflesCity.

Appreciations for Clement’s belated Bday dinner@WooloomoolooSteakhouse – its been a long long long time ago since a SteakTartare has been into the stomach, this time round without the egg-york,capers,onions,capers but still yummy.

Oh please. I’m sure I don’t have to explain the difference between steak tartare and a carnival hamburger… – Angela Marsons

WooloomoolooSalad for a starter+LobsterBisque&JumboPrawnCocktail for the others with steaks for their mains while SteakTartare was mine!

Sooo thoroughly stuffed with absolutely no room for dessert – had to walk around inside RafflesCity and outside by StAndrew’sCathredal allowing some of the food to digest before bedtime.

Sat: Bfast wirh Helen meeting new ppl Yoko with LegoShoes outside MT-GoodLife – inspired by Theresa who is 83 and volunteers here. Fun afternoon@Campers catching up with Calvin&Sam, watching Chris testing&trying on Yukie this extremely heavy outfit for the PoliceK9Trainers, probably feeling&ooking like the Stay-PuftMarshmallowMan and needs help to get up if she falls! So tempting to push her knowing that she will not be hurt – hahaha…

Thank you Helen for these delicious tarts and a new shirt for myself.

Midnight Sun Marathon

24 Jun 2025 – Tromsø/Norway 1968-2023

Sat: tkx to RY for the reminder. Happy Summer Solstice – longest day of the year where my whole flock is having a reunion in the Land of the Midnight Sun. Tromsø/Norway pix credit to Linn with view from the churchyard with the tree blocking Tronsdaltinden which is probably still covered with snow on the top.

Jack will be running the full MidnightSunMarathon and Linn,Katy,Ellie,Sophie the Half-Marathon. My heart is there with them all and missing them reminds me how fortunate I am to have them. Pix credits to Linn and Ellie – 2019 vs 2025.

The Midnight Sun Marathon is a great trail that starts in the center and goes over the Tromsø bridge after approx. 2km. at the top of the bridge you will have a view towards Tromsdalstinden and the Arctic Cathedral. In Tromsdalen, the track goes south towards Solligården to Berg and on to the turn at Sandvika. The trail goes back the same way over the bridge, through the center of Tromsø, around the southern tip of Tromsøya to the turn at Vangberg, then back to the center and finish in Storgata by Kirkeparken. If we are lucky with the weather, marathon runners will see the midnight sun in the north and have a view of the beautiful snow-covered mountains outside Tromsø.

https://msm.no/en/events/midnight-sun-marathon/msm-info/

First time in Tromsø was Christmas 1968 and was there working summers from 1969-73. Lived in Lynseidet/TromsJan-Jun1976 for 6months and then to Tromsø1976-1980. The Land of the Midnight Sun brings back much fond memories where May was born, where the happier days were once upon a time despite of the harsh climate. Pix from Dec1976 and Mar1979. https://amylamsg.com/2010/01/16/tromsø/

Last visit there was 2023, idyllic as it is but not sure if my now even thinner blood(blood thinner meds) will survive the winters there? Do thoroughly enjoy every minute&revisits there during the summers. Tkx to the graciousness&hospitality of the HALD family and to ClaireA and EllenB who I have known since the time living there.

https://amylamsg.com/2023/07/26/till-we-meet-again/

My life was an unending, unchanging midnight. It must, by necessity, always be midnight for me. So how was it possible that the sun was rising now, in the middle of my midnight ― S Meyer

Dinner@Rochalie tkx to Ivy&Les and to Pat&David for their smoked lamb, both lamb dishes were excellent and was a happy camper in my element with durian all to myself for dessert – the others were in the enclosed AC-ManCave! After the last asthma attack, will keep away from enclosed smoking places.

Sun: thanks to Theresa&CJ for PekingDuck, other cantonese dishes and dessert @ImperialTreasureSuperPekingDuck/Paragon.

Always appreciative for such scrumptious food in good company of 5Medical doctors.

Mon&Tue: after last weekend of good food with leftovers no need to shop for grocery, now with food in fridge&freezer to last for the week. Where culinary delights are abundant, it’s no wonder that our taste buds often take us on journeys of pleasure. and sometimes troubling aspect of our relationship with food. Do enjoy good healthy food but must work to balance and eat with moderation so as not to overeat or let it be an addiction. A fabulous week ahead to all and be safe in this world’s volatile situation.

Food is the language of love that brings people together from all walks of life…

Blue Tile Heritage Center

20 Jun 2025 – LAM Heritage

Tue: grocery@MT-GiantS$53.16 including 4%SSS$2.22+PromoS$3.25TotalSS$5.47

Delighted&excited that finally the can of worms opened in 2009 has turned to be constructive&positive. Looking much forward to be able to visit in Nov2025 ie, if health permits, and to meet with some of  cousins from granduncle LAM JeeChiew’s branch.
Tkx to cousin Irene’s hard work and appreciations to her for setting up the website for the Blue Tile Heritage Center a brand of the Lam Center for Cultural Exchange and Roots Discovery in Pengjiang District,Jiangmen City 江門 Guangdong Province/China – managed by Cangdong Community Development and Heritage Education Center/CCDHEC.

Wed: dinner@Rochalie with Ivy while Les is away – her request, kueys from BengawanSolo and the outlet here@78MarineTerrace is the first store opened in 1963 and still here. Wow! 62yrs even before SIN gained its independence but of course renovated&updated with times – pix downloaded.

Favourites KueyTalam,LapisSagu,OngolUbi, and lucky for Ivy KueyTalam is also her favourite – pix downloaded.

Thu: tkx to Henry for visit, food&Sunflower to cheer me up – a lovely afternoon chatting, eating, watching movies, etc, bringing back memories from 2011 when he accompanied the 2nd/last visit to the LAM-Ancestral Hall&Homes. Hopefully he will be able to again accompany me if the Nov2025 confirms!

Fri: appreciations with thanks to cousin Irene for taking time to chat late last night/early this morning! who has done and still is doing such an amazing job with getting the LAM-AncestralHall renovated&protected – she is now working on doing the same to the Twin&Pond houses too. What I have in 2009-2011 considered a lost cause and a can of worms, she has managed to turn into a worthy cause and blossoming into a kaleidoscope of butterflies since her first visit there in 2015.

FB comments: finally the can of worms opened in 2009 has turned to be constructive&positive, tkx to cousin Irene Lam’s hard work.

Cynthia P C Tang-Yeh: The can of worms?
Reply:  opening a can of worms here initiate or reveal a situation that might become complicated. Digging up old sore points or problems from the past – often used metaphorically to describe complicated situations. As for how many are in the LAM family or know anything about large family’s issues&situation will know&understand the use of this expression – hahaha.

I don’t really comment on my personal life because I feel like any comment at all is opening up a whole can of worms — Josh Hartnett

BrownGeneration/GreatGrandChildren to my 2ndbro GG-LAM KwokKiong(1935-2000), making me GreatGrandAuntie! Congratulations&tkx to Grandmother niece OG-LAM Jenleng(1960) for updates – will be adding the BrG-names to the family chart +one more new BrG-LAM expecting sometime this month. Not sure if my mind&memory will be able to keep up…

My Favourite 5Cs

16 Jun 2025 –  A Timeless Lampshade

Fri: Friday the 13th is considered an unlucky day in Western superstition – for me its just any other day! Like any other superstition,fortune-telling,etc they are self-fulfilling prophecy – a belief or expectation that influences behavior&ultimately brings about its own fulfillment. This occurs when an expectation about behavior becomes reality due to an individual’s beliefs&subsequent actions – pix downloaded.

Pessimism becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy; it reproduces itself by crippling our willingness to act ― Howard Zinn

https://www.historyhit.com/why-is-friday-13th-unlucky-the-real-story-behind-the-superstition/

The 5Cs of Careers,Condos,CountryClubs,CreditCards&Cars – once seen as the SingaporeDream in the 1970s but somehow those 5Cs seem such a superficial take on success were and are not in my 5Cs – then or now but was not in SIN then. Pix downloaded.

https://www.ntu.edu.sg/business/news-events/news/story-detail/are-the-five-cs-still-relevant-today

Hopefully as some of the original 5Cs recede, perhaps new ones could take their place in the evolving SingaporeDream – pix downloaded.

My 5Cs are Contentment,Care,Communication,Compassion,Consideration – pix downloaded.

Favourite 5Fs are Family,Friends,Food,Flora&Fauna.

Sat: an evening walk to Parkway via the overhead bridge on StillRd to happily discover that the newly constructed elevators are now completed and working. Looking forward to the completion of the MPCC where my nearest library will be, ie 5mins walk from my 4walls!

Crossing StillRd/near the exit leading to ECP – one of the most iconic trees in our city, the RainTree/Samaneasaman can be identified by its distinct umbrella-shaped and wide spreading crown, which creates a great tunnel effect when planted in rows along our streets. Its compound leaves fold up at night or during rainy days when the sky is overcast.

Sun: Happy Father’s Day to all fathers celebrating&marking the day. In loving memory of my father LAM TinYue (1911-1996) who would have been 114 today and my children’s Norwegian grandfather JK HALD III (1923-2008) 102 today. How coincident is that the 2ppl who I admire&respect were born on the same day! Pix from Summer1967 touring Norway with my father and my first time there, never would have guess then that I would be living there one day. 1976Christmas 1st- born Linn with her paternal grandfather in Tromsø/Norway first&only grandchild for him then.

Celebrating with Gel within my 4walls with 3 different open-face sandwiches+mango pudding for dessert and enough bread for cucumber sandwiches to SL. Open-faced-sandwiches are the only sandwiches you need a fork&knife to eat them – sandwich can be a humble meal where life can be like a sandwich but you have to fill it with the ingredients you like to enjoy it fully. Tkx for drinks+herring – pix credits to Gel.

Mon: 2025 in SYD/Australia, so nice to see my favourite timeless lampshade up, glad that cousin Karen is able to use it – present pix credits to her. Once upon a time in 1988 FL/USA to 1999 SIN it has been in storage in my SIN-4walls since 1999 and just passed on to an appropriated home with an owner who appreciates it. Really like this lampshade but could not fit it into anywhere after moving away from the condo in FL/USA, and both my daughters do not have the decor for it nor were they interested!

Browser Issues

12 Jun 2025 – Hello Euphemia

Mon: issues and problems with browsers and unable to access here or email. Updated Thu.

Tue: MT-Market fresh produce+Grocery@GiantS$66 including savingS$6.36 Promo+4%SS.

Tkx for High-Tea@Atlas. How decadent to be having High-Tea on a weekday, no wonders that I was mistaken to be a Taitai太太a Chinese colloquial term that generally refers to a wealthy married woman who does not work. It is also used as an honorific for a married woman, similar to the Cantonese title for a married woman. Additionally, it can be used by a husband to introduce his wife to others. In English, it translates to wife. Am 100% certainly definitely neither – hahaha!

Do like the completion of this ground level@MidtownModern directly as I got off Bus48 – sure makes going into the office on another level.

Delightful evening playing tourist@ArabSt to discover some nice new shops and will return.

Wed: such a wonderful unexpected day catching up with Euphemia from NZ, last met in Mar2008 https://amylamsg.com/2008/03/20/auckland-nz/

Delighted to be able to meet her at the airport, to my 4-walls, MT-market and a joy ride on Bus36 looping back  to the airport.

Life is an adventure filled with many detours, stops, and turns along the way. Enjoy all the rides in life

How coincident that May was still here and we were able to catch with nostalgic memories when we drove to Tijuana/Mexico together from 1986CA/USA and now 2025@FoodRepublic,Jewel/SIN. Bye for now where Euphemia has to go thru’ the DepartureGates back into her transit accommodation by the hour, hopefully she will get her worth of sleep before heading to London/UK tomorrow morning. Will see her again on her way back to NZ in 2weeks time.

Appeciations to May for sharing this unusual pastry from Shawn – asked him if he was trying to poison my daughter and turned out to be one of the best Pistachio Pastry tasted – tkx Shawn. OTTOS$12.50! pistachio mousse, 70% pistachio praline and orange almond cake coated with a thin layer of chocolate and clamped between 2 pieces of almond tart shells.

8 Jun 2025 – The Yards

Thu: unable to access into all my links here and May suggested to change to Chrome. Appreciations with thousand thanks to Sebastian for help to be able to blog again! Our usual HorFun/河粉/FlatRiceNoodle,PrawnPasteChicken,veggie@MT-market CDCvouhersS$30 where the eyes as usual are bigger than the stomach! and had to packed into my take-away-container – is a wise thing to have with me nowadays. Welcome to a new stall there, will try it out another day, appetite still not quite there…

Tkx to May for Norwegian foods and this Swedish new product recommended by Norwegian hedge fund NicolaiTangen – looking forward to making smørbrød/OpenFaceSandwich with this herring.

https://www.saltosill.se/en/about-salt-sill/about-kladesholmen/

Fri: finally some relief with early morning rains and god pinse/Whitsun.  Managed to darn/mend #6-Olai’s torn RalphLauren shirt as best as possible but eyesight is not as it used to be, hopefully it can last for  a few more wears.

Appreciations with tkx to AndrewLau for taking time to talk and to show us around The Yards. Spreading across 184,000sqm of space, it has developed into an all-inclusive learning environment focused on arts, dance and drama with activities suitable for all age groups.

Hot Hot Hot 2025

4 Jun 2025 – Neckfans + Other Cooling Elements

Sun: SIN tops the 2025 HenleyPassportIndex, granting its citizens visa-free or visa-on-arrival access to 195 destinations worldwide. This reflects SINs strong diplomatic relations and global connectivity. Followed by Japan and S-Korea – no plans going anywhere yet despite holding a SIN-passport! Maybe in Nov for a trip to the LAM-Ancestral-Village/China – will cross that bridge when I get there, now to build up some immunity. Pix downloaded.

Appreciations with thanks for scrumptious dinner@Rochalie – welcome Darryl back for the holidays from Sydney/Australia.

Mon: the innocence from these idyllic pix from 12yrs ago to cheer me on for speedy recovery. At some point in our lives, we will experience a loss of innocence. Whether that disillusionment is with ourselves, our family, or with life itself, there is a choice that arises in the midst of loss. Will we fall into cynicism and self-betrayal? Or will we meet the pain of that loss directly and in that, discover the innocence that was never lost.

Tue: pix from 10yrs ago in the US where it took about 4 weeks for this dandelion field to change from yellow to white! Usually in the US this time of the year but reviewing back from memories 10yrs ago, just as well not there especially after this recent asthma attack here! Beautiful as it is, the pollen will probably suffocate me but blessed to have memories…

Aug2021: IUIGA/Neckfan S$50 – tested it out with a fully charged battery running on medium speed (3speeds) and it lasted for 7hrs.
Amazing that it has lasted me nearly 4yrs and still working despite being taped! Tkx to Clement who is too embarrassed to be seen with me using the taped one got me a new JisuLife(5speeds) and appreciations to May for the Nebulizer. Can’t help just being nuts with the younger generation who are so caring, concerning, considerate – feeling so totally blessed. Not ready to say goodbye to IUIGA, how fortunate now to have one to use within the 4-walls and the other one when out with Clement – hahaha.

Wed: despite the red-tailed-pipe snake/Cylindrophis ruffus is a non-venomous species supposedly the most beautiful snake in the world and very rare, once-in-a lifetime encounter, critically endangered snake, am glad that it was not in my path or anyone who is ophidiophobia – pix definitely downloaded! Dragon Boat Festival/2025

31 May2025 – Condolences to cousin Susannah&family and to cousin Edith for the loss their brother,bro-in-law,uncle, Klaus(1961-2025). He will be missed and may he now RIP.

Fond&good memories of cousin KlausLAM (1961-2025) vivid memory when we first met Christmas/1969. He was proudly pulling at his elastic bow-tie showing me how it worked! He was 8 and I 19 – father to Klaus, 15Uncle&family were packing to move from London/UK to Canada then.

Apr2008: Klaus being a hiker too and a delightful company to be with much to catch up&chat about. Appreciate his wake-up morning coffees, good company at PortMoodyBC/Canada, drive to HorseshoeBay, car-ferry to VancouverIsland landing on Nanaimo & drive to CampbellRiver. The journey from PortMoody-CampbellRiver is ~5hrs including the ferry ride. Feeling so blessed&grateful to have had that time with him.

The last note from him was CNY2024 when he told me that he was in no condition to hike and to acknowledge CNY-cookies.

Wed: May off to work early morning and I got admitted to RafflesHospital by ambulance in the afternoon. Last here was Jun2020 for cholecystitis/infected gallbladder this time acute asthma attack triggered off by some infection.

Enjoyed the room with a view despite

being hooked with intravenous antibiotics&steroid drips on one side and Nebulizer&oxygen on the other side.

Typical hospital food, decent&nourishing – fills you up when you have to be there for 3nights.

The hospital is a place where we go when we are sick, but it is the doctors&nurses who bring healing and hope.

Wed28May2025: sorry to be missing #3-John’s HighSchoolGraduation. Congratulations with well wishes from SIN to him who will be@UofSC after the summer holidays.
You’re off to great places. Today is your day! Your mountain is waiting. So get on your way — Dr. Seuss

Sat: back to the 4-walls and hopefully with some rest+sleep will be better. Hospitals take care of the diagnoses, operations, medications, etc to get you on your feet, but not a very restful place!  Happy Tuen Ng/Cantonese 端午節 also known as Dragon Boat Festival. Enjoy your zongzi 粽子 (China) bak-zhang (SIN).

The festival occurs on the fifth day of the fifth month of the lunar calendar and this year it is on 31May. The focus of the celebrations includes eating the rice dumpling zongzi and racing dragon boats.

Commemorates the life and death of the famous Chinese scholar QuYuan who was a loyal minister serving the King of Chu during the Warring States Period in the third century BCE. His wisdom antagonized other court officials resulting to his accusation of charges of conspiracy, During his exile, QuYuan composed many poems to express his anger and sorrow. At age 37 he drowned himself in the Milo River. Knowing that QuYuan was a righteous man, the people of Chu rushed to the river to try to save him but were unsuccessful. Every year the DragonBoatFestival is celebrated to commemorate this attempt at rescuing QuYuan.

The people began the tradition of throwing sacrificial cooked rice into the river for their lost hero. However, a local fisherman had a dream that QuYuan did not get any of the cooked rice that was thrown into the river in his honour. Instead the fish in the river were eating the rice. Thus, the locals decided to make zongzi to sink into the river in the hopes that it would reach QuYuan’s body. The following year, the tradition of wrapping the rice in bamboo leaves to make zongzi began.

Used to enjoy it just dipped in sugar then – the preference is with palm sugar syrup now.

First sighting to such a fancy bicycle learning that this BirdyBicycle has suspension and you can also customize it to your needs! With something like this, make sure that you keep an eye or have a secure lock for it! Bicycles have come a long way from the days when I used it as a means of transport in Norway. Have given up biking&driving here – too crowded, dangerous, hot&humid. Feel safer on buses&MRTs which have AC, as long as I can avoid rush hours!

On the way to the MT-MRT-staExit1 with AC-underground heading to Exit2 back to my 4-walls wondering? what is the purpose with this security-check?? especially when it’s blocking the map – today’s pix credits to Helen, forgot my phone!

Sun: how would you like to have a ship in your garden and the man in the cabin in Byneset/ Norway did not hear anything until the neighbours called. With such an idyllic place for a cabin, I might have also slept thru’ dreaming that I could have the coastline for myself – thank goodness no one was hurt or injured – pix downloaded.

Mon: take a moment today to give some thoughts for those who have lost their life so that we can live in Peace. To all celebrating&marking today, be safe on this MemorialDay – pix credits to cousin Kerwin. Such significant pix from HI/USA with USSArizona&USSMissouri in the background. For those who are interested and wish to learn the history, google about them. For TSENG&LAM family, our journalist 8thUncle EddieTSENG (1915-1988, may he RIP), was one of a handful of reporters aboard who witnessed the Peace signing on the USSMissouri(2Sep1945) and the very first to report the news to the world.

All gave some; some gave all. Remember them this Memorial Day
