Wed: Welcome #2 Ellie from SC/USA to SIN after 30+hrs in airplanes&airports, including 12+hrs layover in Germany. Grandmother here is soo touched&proud that this beautiful #2 grandchild has saved&worked all summer for airfares to spend her ChristmasHolidays with her family here.

Thu: after 12+hrs of sleep, she is ready to explore – heading to the MarineTerraceTE27 MRT to show her where our nearest MRT-sta and which exit to take. Appreciations to Clement for meeting us MaxwellTE18@Chinatown where he takes over while I turned around back to my 4walls to rest. Relentless coughing and short of breath, hopefully this will soon pass but in the meanwhile need to take it easy.

Being such a perfect sport, she ate up every morsel of the food or maybe she was hungry and I am not feeding her enough – hahaha! Appreciations to DrChuaYang for her time during this busy season with information and questions Ellie had for her. Was out of steam after tea and tkx to Clement for taking over here while I head back to the EastSide.

On the subject on world’s highest restaurants, MarinaBaySands is one of the most striking buildings in the world, 35m/15ft long overhang suspended 198m/649ftabove the ground. The hotel terrace, SkyPark, is the 2nd-longest cantilevered observation deck in the world. Ellie was there last trip, so will try to take her to places where she has not been! Sat: rough night with a terrible dream, staying put for the day to rest up and hopefully AntiB will be kicking in so as to breath better with less coughing. Ellie at Rahman’s son’s wedding and later to ChristmasMass&Dinner with Lee&family – thousand thanks to the family for helping out to take care of her.
