Tue: lyf=live your freedom!Funan by Ascott@HillSt within the CBD is quite a good concept&discovery – basic clean rooms with good amenities. Would certainly recommend this location to anyone, especially when it is so conveniently located for food,shops,public transportation+walking distance to many places of interest.

Started the day with a ride from niece into town to meet PP for breakfast@YakKun/FunanB2 for my favourite kayan toast. MRT to the GPO@PayaLebar, for both of us who remember quite a different GPO of our childhood days. Continue to guide her thru’ GeylangSeraiWetMarket before hearding to the OrchardRd area.

3Scrooges/KK,PP&I, my 2 oldest childhood friends – hahaha finally together again spending a busy day – from a homemade crab lunch to museums and dinner. Amazing to see these items donated by KK&famly.

Wed: walkabout@Chinatown – we know that we will be friends for life when we have already been friends for 70yrs and still can share a durian together!

Thu: pouring rains in the morning, got some laundry done and rested some hours. Bus,MRT to MtE/Novena to visit Ivy – expected the rush hour crowds to be worse when heading back to Somerset@1800hrs for dinner but was pleasantly surprised that there were hardly any crowds.

Fri: morning trip to Chinatown for popiah, visited the ArmenianChurch – oldest Christian church here and one of my favourite churches to visit. Armenian Church Singapore (armeniansinasia.org)

Tkx for lunch@YunNans 云海肴Jewel. Impressed that we managed to self-early baggage-checked-in to learn&discover how convenient&efficient it was to get rid of a luggage giving us time to explore without having to lug the bag along!

What are the chances that the world’s tallest indoor waterfall RainVortex@Jewel is closed for cleaning – no rain indoors or waterfall today but pouring outside! Definitely a reason for Peggy to return here for another visit – safe trip home to Perth/Australia for now. Blessed by an amazing week with 3-Oldies in our 70s sharing 7Decades of nostalgic memories and still in decent health&memory to talk about it – hahaha.
