For those unfamiliar, Vesak, a festival of utmost significance in Buddhism that commemorates the birth, enlightenment, and death of the Buddha. A public holiday in SIN and nice to see ppl taking the time to enjoy in this neighbourhood – bought a ChickenKebabS$4.90

Have not been to Morsels/DempseyRd since 2017 and would highly recommend

Morsels for all of Chef Petrina’s interesting predominantly Asian-Fusion on this menu – food pix credits to Glady.
Fusion food as a concept is kind of trying to quite consciously fuse things that are sometimes quite contradictory, sometimes quite far apart, to see if they’d work -YotamOttolenghi

Wed: waking on this glorious wet morning. Safe journey back to the US for Kat on her short 3days visit – 19hrs flight direct from SIN-JFK! Might look into this for the next US visit?
