Gardens By the Bay but lines were too long for going in the Flower and Cloud Forest domes, so just a walk around the Super Trees. Poor Mick, he was drenched in sweat!

The motifs of cranes sometimes refer to the transformed Taoist immortals (xian), who were said to have magical abilities to transform into cranes in order to fly on various journeys.

Time for a cool quiet place for an angelica! experience at Divine Bar**** at Parkview Sq after MBS and Arab St. All that eating, drinking and sight-seeing in a day – certainly feeling no pain and will have a good night sleep 🙂

Left them to their shopping while I tried going to the library but got caught up with still learning to use this camera which is annoying me – do not know how to turn off the auto-flash mode 🙁 Have to remember to turn it off manually before taking the pix…

Sun: Ann does not want me at the airport, so we parted paths last night. Now for one of the most dreaded things to do – PACK 🙁 but to pack and fly these distances to be with my family is the greatest blessing 🙂

Looking forward to Sep when I am planning to be in Norway after the US trip. Olai will be 4 and it would be nice if I could celebrate with him.

Don’t be dismayed at goodbyes. A farewell is necessary before you can meet again. And meeting again, after moments or lifetime, is certain for those who are friends – Richard Bach
